What inspires my work?

Art and creativity have always been a constant in my life, starting with my family. From my incredibly artistic grandmother—who designed games from scratch, painted letters, and created beautiful scrapbooks for her grandchildren—to my 3D animator brother, my dad with his ever-growing art collection, my sewing-enthusiast mom, and my little sister with her endless crafting talent, I’ve always found inspiration in them.

My photography journey then began when my mom gave me my grandpa’s film camera. From the moment I took my first photos, I fell in love with the entire process— the excitement of choosing the right film, the anticipation of seeing the developed images.

I started capturing everyday moments of my friends, family, and the places I lived or traveled to. For me, these small fragments of life are the most beautiful to photograph—fleeting moments that hold so much meaning.

Hi it's Flavie

I’m a photographer originally from a small coastal village in Southwest France, now living in another beautiful seaside town—Angourie, NSW, Australia.

After a few years of experimenting with film photography, I wanted to explore new possibilities, so I got my first digital camera. It opened up an entirely new creative approach, allowing me to develop a different style and dive into the editing process.

From surf photography to product shoots, portraits, weddings, and personal projects, I’m constantly seeking new opportunities—big or small—to challenge myself and push my creativity further. I love both film and digital photography, each offering unique processes and creative freedom.

Currently based in Angourie, NSW, Australia, I’m always ready to travel the world for my next photo opportunity!
